According to a June 8 news release from AllianceTexas developer Hillwood Development, construction has begun on Torchy’s Tacos, CAVA, Black Rifle Coffee Company and Dash Nail Spa. The dining and retail concepts are expected to open in early 2023.
Parkside at Alliance Town Center is a 30,000-square-foot food and entertainment development within AllianceTexas. The new additions will be north of Heritage Trace Parkway, on the east side of Hillwood Parkway and adjacent to Bluestem Park.
Torchy's Tacos is an Austin-based, fast-casual taco joint, while CAVA is a Mediterranean culinary brand, the release states. Black Rifle Coffee Company is veteran owned and imports high-quality coffee beans. Dash Nail Spa will offer luxury manicure and pedicure services.
“Parkside at Alliance Town Center continues to be a destination for the region, and I’m excited to welcome some new additions to serve our growing community,” said Mark Miller, senior vice president of retail development at Hillwood, in the release. “Torchy’s, CAVA, Black Rifle and Dash Nail Spa diversify our existing retail, restaurant and entertainment options, promoting strong community engagement and building upon Alliance Town Center’s vibrant atmosphere.”
An earlier version of the news release from Hillwood stated that an H-E-B grocery store would be joining the other four restaurants and businesses. Multiple news outlets reported that the H-E-B would be coming to Alliance Town Center.
H-E-B confirmed last year that it officially bought land from Hillwood on Feb. 4, 2021, at the northwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and North Riverside Drive in Alliance.
However, Hillwood later corrected its news release, saying, “H-E-B has not announced a store at this site nor a timeline for construction.”
Mabrie Jackson, senior director of public affairs for H-E-B/Central Market, confirmed this.
“H-E-B has not announced any plans for a store in Fort Worth,” Jackson said in an email to Community Impact Newspaper on June 8.
